Why Gardening?
I served as a master gardener in my county in Central Texas. I saw our demonstration garden that was the size of a small home lot produced 10,000 pounds of food a year. I also noticed on Chef shows on cable TV that the best chefs in the world would be most excited when they had access to a garden.
I also saw a chef collaborate with a gardener to prove that we are not only what we eat, but we are what our food eats. They fed bright red peppers to chickens, which then produced egg yolks of the same red color.
I was hooked!!! I wanted to create gardens
with the best soil and plants possible. We are also what our plants eat!!! I am in love with roots and soil!
There is a huge connection to us through plants and soil, the miracle connector is mycorrhizae! They are the world wide web for plants!
